If this is correct, then disregard this comment. The issue here is that bar charts represent size by the AREA of the bars, and so it looks like P2 is double that of P1. It might be better to plot this as change in temperature. I see you have temperature, and so this can be tricky. Bar charts should start at zero and end at the value. ![]() On a side note, you should also know that your bar chart does not follow standard conventions. This is probably harder though than above. The other way to do this is to plot lines where they start at the values you have + the positive error and end at the the value - the negative error. If you have different positive and negative error, then you can have a column with the "+" as the heading and another as a "-" for the heading. Veusz interprets the numbers in these columns as the error for data **to the left** of the the "+-" column. IF you have symmetrical errors, then you can have a column where the heading is "+-". ![]() csv so Veusz will automatically assign the errors. There are two ways to do this, I think.But there is not a simple way (that I know of) to change bars as you might in excel. You can also use the grid system to create this as well. ![]() What I typically do is create 5 individual bars and so 5 bar charts. This is one of the things that is a real shortcoming of Veusz. As far as I know, there is no 'simple' way to change the color of individual bars.
